  • Are your seeds genetically modified?

    No. For general use and sale it is illegal to import genetically modfied (GMO)/ genetically engineered (GE) seed into New Zealand. All our seed is GMO free to the best of our knowledge.
  • Are your seeds treated?

    The majority of our range is untreated seed and that is our preference. However some varieties are required to be treated to meet New Zealand biosecurity legislataion for import of seeds for sowing. Treated seed is indicated as such online and in our catalogue.
  • Do you sell garlic seed?

  • Do you sell mint seed?

    | | | --- | | No, we do sell peppermint and spearmint. Common Mint is cultivated by asexual propagation which involves taking cuttings of the mint plant and growing  a new plant from this. |
  • Do you sell potato seed?

    No, potato tubers are perishable and therefore difficult to store.  In addition they are heavy which creates challenges for shipping.
